We provide food grown in a sustainable, low-impact way and education about our practices to the faculty, students, and staff of Luther College as well as to the surrounding community.
It is important for students to eat healthy vegetables and fruits that are locally grown and pesticide-free so that they understand the health and various other benefits of organic agriculture.
The Luther Dining Services Staff is willing to cook using organic foods, as well as Sunnyside and Marty’s Cyber Café. Students have expressed interest in eating a healthier diet which is possible through cooperation on campus.
The Luther College Student Garden is located north of College Drive, off of Baker Drive-behind the big red barn.
